Meet Baljeet

Before heading home from our Aladdin trip, we stopped by a pet store to get a hamster. The boys wish we still had Dexter, and they try to adopt any stupid cat that comes into our yard. I didn't want fish, and Preston wouldn't let us pay $70+ for a turtle, so we figured a hamster would be the best pet for us!! Baljeet sleeps all day, and runs on his hamster wheel all night. Braxton, Mason, and a couple of their friends like to take him outside on his hamster run. There are some steel bars that go from one end to the other, as well as one side to the other. They put Baljeet on the bars and watch him run all over the place. They think it's so funny! I'm honestly very surprised the hamster is still alive. We're very hard on tiny rodents.
