Bird Traps, Tents, and Toy Guns

Braxton really wants to catch a bird. When they land in the yard he walks slowly and quietly trying to sneak up on them. He tries to catch them with his hands. Then we figured out a bird trap for him and he and Mason put bread crumbs under the trap.
Then we waited.
And waited.
Ready to give the string a tug!!

He got unbelievably close to catching a bird.

It was an all day ordeal, and we didn't catch a bird, but the boys had a blast!!

The boys made a tent in the play room. Then they just HAD to sleep in there. It collapsed in the middle of the night and they both tried to get in our bed.

Preston came home from work a few months ago with a surprise for the boys. Rubber band guns!!
They were a BIG hit until we lost all the rubber bands and broke pieces off the guns. But now they're still good for "cops and bad guys" and hunting.
