Preston was selected as one of the Troopers from Utah to go to the Presidential Inauguration in January. It was an amazing opportunity, and he loved the time he got to spend there. Don't be haters because of how expensive the security was, you know if you were asked to go, you would have gone too!! Sorry, I shouldn't read comments on KSL.
There are some pictures below from the Fallen Officers Memorial. Steve Anderson is a guy Preston used to work with. He was a great guy, and Preston really enjoyed getting to know him. The events that took his life, are what led us to Beaver. They finally changed a policy that should have been changed long before something bad happened. But as hard and tragic as it was, I'm grateful to be where we are today.

He didn't get much sleep, especially because he was worried about Braylon at Primary Childrens Hospital (that post to come) and the hours of standing along the parade route were long, but he still really enjoyed the experience. They had about 6 hours of free time one of the days to tour, but that's nothing when people say you need weeks in DC to see everything. He keeps telling me how much I would love Washington, and hopefully someday we'll get to go together.
