Weighing in at a whopping 31 pounds.....MASON!!!
It helped Mason to wrestle against his friend Kavin for his 1st match (especially since Kavin weighs the same as Mase). Kavin is on Prestons wrestling team and he and Mason wrestle each other in practice. It was good for him to have a familiar opponent:)
Mason got out there and wrestled all 3 matches, even though he was tired by the end. He couldn't believe he got his very own medal!!
Braxton had so much fun wrestling. He is so funny to watch when other kids are wrestling. He sits right next to the mat the whole time and yells at the kids to wrestle, and be tough, and put a half on him!!!
Future STATE CHAMPS.
At the Milford tournament the closest weight to Mason was a kid who was 5 pounds heavier and about 3 inches taller. Mase put up a good fight the first match, and just let himself get pinned the other two. He scored 2 points for a take-down in his 1st match, and you would not believe how excited he was when I told him he scored 2 points!!

Way to go Mason!!

Braxton wrestled MUCH better at the Milford tournament than the Beaver one. He beat his first kid 18-2. In the 3rd round of his 2nd match Braxton was losing 3-2. Then he got the kid on his back and pinned him!! It was so awesome! He had to wrestle his friend Tesler for 1st place. Brax got pinned in the 3rd round. But he was still excited and came up with a smile!!
He wanted to pose like the guy on his medal.
Braxton is so good with Mason. He takes such good care of him and always lets him tag along. Braxton was right next to the mat cheering Mason on for all his matches. He loves his brother!

My friend Jeannie and I were flying solo in this tournament. Both our husbands had to work so we woke kids up at 7:00 am and headed to Milford. Hey Jeannie, thanks for helping Mason while I watched Brax wrestle;)
