Birthdays

Braxton turned 7 in December. It was on a Sunday, so he opened 2 presents before church (a tie and a ninja turtle), then he opened another one (mp3 player) after church. He was so excited about the mp3 player. It already had some of his favorite songs on it, and he listened to it all the way to Grandma Shanna's house. Mason really likes it too. Preston's family Chritmas party was the same day as Braxton's b-day. So they made a cake for him, he opened a few more presents, and we all sang happy birthday to all the December b-days. Preston turned 30 3 days later:) He hates being 30, so I like to tease him and let the world know that he is older and wiser! The family party was a lot of fun, and visiting with all the fam was even more fun! Braxton and Mason learned an important lesson in the white elephant game. Sometimes it's better to pick a present you KNOW you'll like, rather than to open a new one that may be something you don't want:) We stayed in Mt. Pleasant until it was kind of late, then headed home. Preston, remember when our headlights wouldn't stay on for a few miles? That was terrifying-and weird. Then the next day, my family came over and gave Braxton a remote controlled helicopter. That was a big hit! It took him a while to get the hang of it, but now he's pretty good. Happy 7th Birthday to Braxton, and 30th Birthday to Preston. Love you guys!!
