FAMILY VACATION-November 13th-15th

Our Cruise Itinerary.
We went on a 7 day cruise through the Western Caribbean. It was such an amazing vacation!!
Las Vegas Airport. Whew, we made it with 7 minutes to spare!! We left home with PLENTY of time to make it to the airport hours early. Wayne, Shanna, and Kaylee spent the night at our house. In the morning we headed to Cedar to pick up Taleena. By Mesquite we were hungry and decided to go in to Burger King for some breakfast. Then we left Burger King.

About 45 minutes of driving later, Mason asked for his notebook and stickers (which were in Kaylee's purse). Kaylee can't find her purse. Wayne pulls the van over, and we do a quick search for the purse. It's gone. Kaylee left it at Burger King. So we flip around and head North to Mesquite. Kaylee feels horrible. Her drivers license was in her purse (can't get on a plane or a cruise ship without it). We start looking at the clock. If we go all the way back for the purse, we were sure to miss our flight.

Sooooo, Preston calls information to get the # to B-King. Of course with our luck, the only people he can reach at B-King speak Spanish. Finally he finds out there was in deed a purse left at the restaurant. To make a long story a bit shorter, Preston makes a deal with some guy on the phone, that if he takes the purse and heads South while we keep heading North, we'll meet up and pay them. The guy on the phone had to round up a car and a cell phone blah, blah, blah-FINALLY we meet up with them and get the purse. Wahoo!! Our hero's!! Wayne paid them $50. and they helped themselves to $50 of Kaylee's money on their way over. Jerks. Our hero's, but jerks.

We still weren't out of the woods. We had to find parking, and didn't even know for sure where to go. You HAVE to be 45 minutes early to board a DELTA airplane. We made it 52 minutes early. It was so stressful and I haven't been that sick to my stomach for a looooong time. We looked like the family from HOME ALONE running through the airport. As soon as we got to our gate, Preston had to do some negotiating to make sure Braxton and Mason had seats next to at least one of us. Luckily we were able to get 3 seats together for the boys and I. Everyone else was scattered throughout the plane. Sorry Kaylee, it's a great story- now, so I had to tell it:) Love ya!

After the flight to Atlanta, Braxton said, "Hey Captain! Thanks for driving the plane!!" So he gave the boys some wings.

A maintenance guy at the Hotel walked by and said, "Watch out for gators." I said, "Are you serious?" He said, "Yep." So I hollered at Braxton and Mason to get away from the water!!



Braxton and Cassidee. Her Mom Lisa and I, had the same due date with these 2. They're exactly 2 weeks apart.

After dinner we had a Camp Carnival orientation to go to. There was a dance party for kids afterwards. Mason won a medal for being the best little boy dancer.

They spent a lot of time here at Camp Carnival. They were in the 2-5 age group. Towards the end of our trip, all they wanted to do was play at camp carnival. It was awesome!
Monday was a DAY AT SEA.






Monday night-Formal Dinner
